Fantasia will be honored at the 1st Annual Carolina Awards, which honors the development of the music industry in the Carolinas, encouraging growth in music present and future. Teddy Riley, Jackie Gore, Randy Travis, Big Daddy Kane and Carolina American Idols, Chris Daughtry, Clay Aiken & Kellie Pickler will also receive honors. The Awards take place on Saturday, June 28th @ 8:00PM at the Fletcher Opera Theater in Raleigh, NC. For ticket information click here.

Fantasia has been named Grand Marshal at the of the 81st Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival on May 3rd. The Festival is held in Winchester - Frederick County Virginia, in the historic Northern Shenandoah Valley, just 75 miles west of Washington, D.C. The festival runs from April 25 - May 4, 2008, Saturday, May 3rd is when Fantasia will appear as the Grand Marshall at the Parade. For more information click here.
